A quiet place, light refreshments. Great!
A really nice spot—swimming right next to the meadow, working restrooms (bring your own toilet paper), and a partially open-air shower, but after dark or on cooler days when people aren’t swimming in the pond, you have privacy there. The meadow slopes downward, but we managed to set up our tent even in the upper part, where there was a beautiful view, and we could gather firewood in the small forest (you can also buy it on the meadow via a QR code). Plenty of space, clean water in the pond, a snack stand open around 1 p.m., and a quarry for swimming is a 2-km walk through the woods. It’s a perfect spot for kids, too. The little store carries basic groceries; you can order baked goods, but there was always something available to buy around 9 a.m. The only downside is that locals off-site were making noise until midnight, but that’s not the owner’s fault. It’s a gathering spot, and in the summer, you probably have to expect that. We were there for four nights, and only one was bad; otherwise, it was pretty quiet after 10 p.m. The other non-campers were nice. For hot summer days, it’s one of the best places we’ve been to.

There are 13 cars belonging to non-campers in the meadow, a full parking lot below the meadow, and dozens of people from near and far in the lake... Without leveling chocks, you’ll be sleeping at the bottom of the hill—and even with 15-centimeter chocks, you’ll basically be in the same position. I do appreciate how clean the property is.
We highly recommend it. We made our reservation this morning, got the confirmation right away, and headed out. Beautiful surroundings with a place to swim. It’s just a short walk to the quarry. I recommend not hesitating—just go. ❤️❤️
