A beautiful place. Even in the hottest weather, you could find some shade and sleep in a tent. Great facilities, a fragrant (really!) outhouse, and four beautiful cows behind the fence. We definitely recommend swimming in the Otava River—you can walk there and find a nice spot. Another plus is the very friendly owners, who recommended swimming and even brought us some water. Thank you so much—we’ll definitely be back.

A very nicely prepared, flat plot of land. The grass was mowed, and there was a toilet and shower as described, along with trash cans. And best of all, a beautiful view. The owner was very friendly. Thank you so much for the stay.

A wonderful spot in the middle of the forest… nature has reclaimed what was once a quarry site… absolute peace, silence, crystal-clear water. Paradise on earth. It’s just the birds singing their hearts out here… :) I know that another “Top 5” review will make this place even more popular, but the owner deserves it for all his hard work and care. Thanks, Tom!!!

We set out with our two kids during the hottest spell the owner and the lake had ever experienced. Swimming in the amazingly clear water was refreshing and basically the only way to beat the heat. You can find piers nearby where you’ll have the place to yourself. The fenced-in property was right by the lake; the owner is a great guy, and he even gave us some cold drinks as a gift. There’s a store and three restaurants nearby. I recommend “Remiza.” We’ll be back soon :)

A beautiful place where we disrupted the peaceful coexistence of the ants… and they made their presence known to us both days. The gentleman who takes care of the castle provided us with every amenity, including mist to cool us off so we could survive the heat (40°C). The restrooms were clean, but otherwise the place itself still needs a lot of work—though it has its charm. And we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there.

A beautiful plot of land on the banks of the Sázava River, surrounded by trees, so it stays pleasant even during the sweltering summer. The friendly owner runs a stand here, which is a nice bonus to the accommodations. We definitely recommend it 👍

I can wholeheartedly recommend this property. It’s beautifully peaceful and quiet, with plenty of privacy, yet shops and the train station are within walking distance. Another plus is the nearby pond, which offers a pleasant way to cool off.
A big thank you goes to the owner, who was very helpful, friendly, and communicative throughout our stay. In just a few days, he transformed the original cabin into a cozy and comfortable place to stay. It’s clear that he enjoys what he does and wants to offer his guests the best possible accommodations.
What’s more, he has further plans for the property—he wants to put the well back into operation and build his own facilities with a restroom next to the cabin. If he continues at this pace, I’m confident this place will become even better.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place with plenty of privacy and a host who truly cares about his guests, I can recommend this place with a clear conscience.

The accommodations met our expectations: proximity to swimming (the paddleboard was a nice bonus), and the cabin’s amenities—kitchenette, electricity, toilet, and shower—were great. The grill over the fire pit was amazing. We didn’t use the sleeping quarters—the weather was beautiful, so we slept on the porch under a mosquito net and in tents without rain flys. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We’d love to come back.

A beautiful plot of land with access to the river for cooling off. There’s a fire pit on the property for barbecuing. You’ll need to bring your own firewood, as there aren’t enough fallen branches on the property. Right at the entrance to the property is a restaurant that serves food, and in the evenings there was a program featuring live music. TOP

A really nice, huge, well-equipped garden. We especially appreciated the minibar and the shower. It’s easy to find a shady spot for a tent. Everything went absolutely smoothly—we highly recommend it!

We were very happy with the property. The biggest draw is the flooded quarry with beautifully clear water, which is accessible at any time—and at 35 °, it’s simply amazing... Electricity is available, there’s a fire pit, and the whole place is surrounded by beautiful nature. We also appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly owner. If you’re looking for a place to relax in nature, we highly recommend it. We’d love to come back.

A beautiful spot right next to a babbling stream and a small waterfall. Set back from the road, behind the wall of an old factory. The lawn is mowed, the outhouse is clean and spider-free, there’s a tap with drinking water within walking distance, and a great fire pit with seating and skewers. Everything is new and cozy. During our stay, there were two groups on the property—there was plenty of space, and we found plenty of privacy and shade. But definitely don’t forget insect repellent—there are a lot of ticks. There’s a great convenience store in the village.

A nice place for those who aren't too picky—good enough for one night... there's a nice swimming area in the village.It’s just a shame we couldn’t find any signs for Bezkemp; we (hopefully) recognized the place from the photos :) but we didn’t make the reservation until the morning of our arrival... if we’re ever in the area again, we’d love to come back here sometime.

A great place for kids, friendly owners, and the chance to try milking goats. The property has plenty of trees and shade. Everything matches the description—and then some.

A peaceful, lovely grassy garden next to the barn. It’s completely quiet here—just birds chirping, with only the occasional train passing by. At night, it’s completely quiet. I didn’t see a single soul here over the weekend. There are two spots on the property where you can camp: in front of or behind the barn. Electricity and running water are available. A fire pit is also available. The access road is in good condition even in wet weather. It’s a great starting point for hiking the green trail through the rocks. (At the Teplice Rocks, the rangers will sell you a ticket that’s also valid for Adršpach—a nice 13-km walk; from Adršpach, you can take a bus back to Janovice.) About 1.4 km from the site is the excellent “U Tyršů” pub (Fri–Sun from 4:00 p.m.), where they serve home-cooked meals and good beer. There’s also a small store in the village.

A beautiful and spacious plot of land, with water and electricity available. There were four groups of us here, and I think each group had plenty of space and privacy. We didn’t actually meet the owner, but we communicated with him. Communication was quick and went smoothly. Both athletes and tourists will find something to enjoy here. Even though it’s secluded, it’s just a short walk to the town of Křtiny (1.5 km). There are shops and restaurants there. In our opinion, a nice “no-camping” spot.
