The village of Svijany lies on the edge of the Bohemian Paradise, just a few minutes from Turnov and within easy reach of the D10 highway between Prague and Liberec. Thanks to its location, it offers a unique combination of easy accessibility and beautiful natural surroundings. Svijany is best known for its brewery, with a tradition dating back to the 16th century, and its renovated castle, but it also serves as an excellent starting point for hiking and biking trips in the Bohemian Paradise.

The campsite is located right in the village, on the grounds of a multipurpose sports field. Within walking distance, you’ll find a grocery store, restaurants, a bakery, a brewery, and other services to make your stay more enjoyable.
Lovers of active vacations will appreciate the many interesting places in the area. By bike or car, you can easily reach iconic sites of the Bohemian Paradise, such as Drábské světničky, Příhrazské skály, or Valdštejn Castle. Nearby you’ll also find Svijany Castle and the famous Svijany Brewery, where you can take a brewery tour or sample local specialties.
In Svijany, you can admire not only the famous brewery but also the place where one of the most well-known Czech flours—Pernerka—comes from. The family-owned Perner Mill has stood in Svijany for more than 600 years and remains one of the village’s symbols to this day. If you enjoy baking, you might be surprised to learn that the flour used to make thousands of loaves of homemade bread, cakes, and pastries throughout the country is produced right here in Svijany.

Restriction of the access road
Due to the dimensions of the parking lot, cars with trailers are not allowed to enter. Max. length of motorhomes approx. 8 metres. In the case of larger cars, or if necessary, the barriers can be easily removed and driven onto the grassy area by car for on-site handling.

Svijany is ideally located for exploring the Bohemian Paradise from the saddle of a bicycle. Directly from the stellplatz you can set off along marked cycle paths towards Turnov, Mnichovo Hradiště or the most famous rock areas of Bohemian Paradise. In the surroundings you will find quiet roads, forest paths and trails leading between meadows and villages with beautiful views of the countryside. For example, the Příhraz Rocks, Drábské světničky, Valdštejn Castle or the Jizera River Valley are worth a day trip. Thanks to the varied landscape, both recreational cyclists and those who like longer and more demanding routes will find their place here.

The Bohemian Paradise is one of the most popular tourist areas in the Czech Republic and Svijany is a great starting point for exploring it. Just a short drive or bike ride will take you to the most famous rock towns, sights and historical monuments. Popular destinations are the Příhrazské skály, Drábské světničky, Valdštejn Castle or the romantic trails leading through the sandstone cliffs. Whether you go for a short walk or a day hike, you will find beautiful views, peaceful forests and the unique atmosphere of Bohemian Paradise.

- Observe the nighttime quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Keep your campsite and the surrounding area tidy.
- Do not enter areas outside the designated campground boundaries, especially private properties and residential homes.
- Dispose of all trash in the provided bins and sort your waste.
- Dispose of chemical toilet waste and gray water only at the designated locations.
- Open fires and the use of personal fire pits are not permitted.
- Dogs are welcome; please keep them under control and clean up after them.
- Respect the marked parking spaces and do not block access roads.
- Upon departure, please leave your site in the condition you would like to find it yourself.

The RV park is newly built and very nicely landscaped. In the morning, a local councilwoman welcomed us, gave us a gift, and wished us a nice day.
The site is in a quiet location, and the facilities for RVs are perfect. There’s a dump station for chemical toilets, gray water, drinking water, and electricity. Absolutely satisfactory. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Svijany Castle, and there’s a bakery just a short distance from the campsite. It’s a shame that the restroom on the grounds isn’t open. That would certainly make the place much more attractive. Thank you very much, and we’ll definitely be back.

I was blown away by the incredibly kind and warm welcome from Mayor Svijan, who came to greet us immediately upon our arrival with a bag full of gifts and best wishes for a wonderful stay. We travel a lot, but this has never happened to us anywhere else!!!!!
