Where do the property ratings come from?
You leave the car at the bottom of the hill, walk to the marquee and relax as much as you can.
We enjoyed our stay at this place very much, beautiful connection with nature, nothing around, beautiful surroundings, nature and mushrooms we found. The caravan is tiny, but we were in two, therefore ideal, the toilet is quite far away, as well as parking the car, but in the end it did not limit us somehow. The space inside can be easily and quickly heated with stones. The only downside was locking the marquee, the locks were not very visible and we only found out that you can lock the building when we left :D
If anyone wants to spend the night in the countryside, unplug and enjoy the peace and sounds of nature, I highly recommend it.
I know the wider area very well, this corner of our country is a matter of the heart for me. However, it was the first time we spent the night here. We give it a thumbs up for me and for our four children of different ages (from 10 to 21 years old :-). As a fan of military technology, I have to say that the former radio station is in great condition, except for the attached canopy, which I understand and respect for the sake of protecting the roof :-). Plenty of sleeping space, space overall relatively small but purposefully furnished. We even managed to play a board game inside with five of us... The fire pit defined by a relatively high metal hoop with a grate is fine, if you follow common sense (it's in the woods) you can almost always make a fire. Clouds of wood around...
