...basically, a nice place by the Ohře River. Perfect for a fisherman.
BUT - there is supposedly trout water here (which was not mentioned anywhere) , so the fisherman who got a spot next to me left disappointed the next day.
I believe with a large caravan it would be quite a problem to park here even in "dry" weather. A relatively small site with ...a relatively large hill vs summer tyres - a bad combination.
"I've dragged your electricity there" means you still have to drag it another 25m or so across the road. As a sound engineer, I'm squeamish about cables and ...I didn't take the crossings. My fault. I did have about 23m of cable, but the electrician in nearby Ostrov helped me fix the problem.
It was stormy the night before I left, but after backing up to the river and taking a little longer to get going, I "shoveled" the road fairly well. But I did lose it a bit and the next attempt would probably have been dramatic...
I wouldn't want to disparage the location. I was just a little surprised by some things. When the owners arrived on the second day of my stay, nice owners (!), everything sort of evened out.
Beautiful, absolutely peaceful land, dark, quiet, water and super views. Surroundings hilly, but beautiful panorama. Lots of historical buildings. Around the water luxury bike paths.
