Where do the property ratings come from?
A beautiful, peaceful place. We have a large trailer pulled by a van, and we had a little trouble getting in and out, but the staff at the sawmill across the street were very helpful and let us turn around on their property. Other than that, there’s nothing to complain about.
Nice little spot, a fire pit, the grounds are nicely mowed, the ponds are a bit overgrown and wild, but the grass and bushes provide privacy, even though the property is right next to the road. 👍
There’s nothing to complain about. The location isn’t completely secluded (there’s a road nearby), but there’s certainly no lack of privacy—in fact, it was a pleasant surprise. There’s a really large open space available that you have all to yourself. We slept in a tent, and the space could easily accommodate more simultaneous reservations. During our stay, the rules allowed for only one reservation at a time, which was quite a luxury given the size of the property. Before our arrival, the owner prepared a nice fire pit for us, which we used—thank you for that. If anyone is confused by the cabin standing on the property—it’s clearly an unused but well-preserved structure. It’s not a dangerous ruin or home to uninvited guests; it simply adds to the atmosphere of the place, and there’s no access to it.
