The cottage is cozy and insulated, equipped with a stove with glass for cool evenings. You can enjoy cooking on a gas stove and for refreshment there is a water spring just 200 metres from the cottage. Although there is a dry toilet, the surrounding countryside will make up for any modern conveniences.
The area offers wonderful opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and exploring the beauty of the Žilina region. Come and explore the geomorphological subdivision of the High Javorníky and the Javorník Mountains. Look forward to unforgettable views and peaceful walks through the surrounding forests.
Our cottage is an ideal place for relaxation, where you can forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge your batteries in the beautiful nature. Garden seating, armchairs, deck chairs and a fireplace add to the comfort and atmosphere. The cottage is without electricity, we use gas cookers, occasionally gas light, LED torches, kerosene lamp, or AKU for the necessary charging of mobile phones. We carry drinking water with us in jerry cans, and you can scoop up utility water in a large 20l canister at a nearby spring where you can also rinse off. The cottage can easily sleep up to 8 people, the attic is spacious. We used to spend whole holidays at the cottage as kids with grandma and grandpa, so you can definitely do it too. :)

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
There is a forest road leading to the cottage, which is passable with more care by a regular car and it is possible to park about 100m above the cottage, if you have a 4x4 you can drive up to the cottage. In bad weather we recommend leaving your car above the cottage by the forest road where there is plenty of space to park your car.

Relax by the fire pit, chat, sing songs and enjoy the warmth of the fire under the starry sky.
Due to the remoteness of the area, you can enjoy a great view of the night sky and stargaze without light pollution.
Capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape, plants and animals. The area around the lodge offers beautiful natural scenery.
Explore the possibilities of picking mushrooms, blueberries, raspberries and other berries and herbs.
Take advantage of the peaceful surroundings for meditation or yoga exercises to help you relax and recharge your batteries. Feel free to sunbathe naked, the hut is completely secluded!
Enjoy quiet moments with your favourite book on the terrace or by the window overlooking the nature. No neighbour, no fence, just a cottage and beautiful woods.
No litter, keep tidy both inside and around the cottage. We recommend having your own sleeping bags and drinking water per person/day. Clean everything up after yourself and wash the floor and dishes etc. Arrange rubbish removal. If you are willing to do some maintenance work on the cottage and surrounding area, we can arrange financial compensation and you will have a cheaper stay.
There is a key code box at the cottage so you can come and go at any time, you don't have to wait for anyone.

Beautiful cottage in the woods, it has everything you need to relax. We were looking for a place away from civilization with no cell phone electricity and this came true. We fell asleep to the guttural tones made by the deer in the woods. We loved it there. Thank you
