We discovered this little cottage at the beginning of summer this year and this is the third time we've been there - so see my previous review. 😃 The cottage is just perfect, completely out of civilization, always beautifully clean and ready, with the owner TOP agreement. Right from the cottage you can connect to wonderful hiking trails and even though we didn't have great weather for the weekend, we still did a 15 mile loop on Sunday. We made it back from the lodge on Monday just fine, even after a two hour rain in the morning. The first day and night needed to be covered more often, but once the cabin warmed up, it was shirtless the second night, even though the stove went out that night. The lights in the cabin are connected to the car battery and tend to go out occasionally. That's why I recommend bringing not only headlamps, but maybe a usb power bank lamp. 😉 Unfortunately, the cabin is closing for the winter due to water and we can't wait for the first days of spring to come again! ❤️
