A wonderful place in every way. Divine peace, ease, and comfort. We got along perfectly with the property owner, who was very accommodating. We’d love to come back again.
I set out on my own with three kids, and this approach was great because you’re outdoors but have a comfortable place to sleep all set up, and you don’t have to worry about pitching a tent at dinnertime after a full day of walking around outside. On the way to the campsite, we got a little lost—partly our own fault—and I tried to make my way through the forest away from the red hiking trail marker. Well, that wasn’t the right way to go :) Everything was peaceful and quiet, with the occasional tractor. The playground in the village was great—there was even a well right next to it. Yes, I told the kids not to drink from it, but they didn’t listen. :) But they were fine, so that was great. We watched deer running around, a poppy field (before it was mowed down), and enjoyed building a campfire in the morning, because later on it wasn’t possible due to the high temperatures. The owner warned us to bring warm clothes for the night, which came in handy despite the heat. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the stove to work, but we managed without it. We visited Velké Dářko and the local peat bog, the Kingdom of Railways in Žďár, and the local swimming pool, and went on bike rides with the kids through the woods. The summer road closures in the area were a minor setback. The restaurant in Ostrov nad Oslavou was great—the waiter even helped me charge my phone. We had a really great adventure here and enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you very much.
We can’t recommend this spot enough. The kids would love to come here regularly :) The tent is very nicely set up, with blankets, towels, and some cooking supplies. It’s a quiet spot just outside the village, near a small playground. You can’t tell from the photo, but the tent is next to a small field by the forest—it’s not as secluded as it seems. That said, only about four people passed by on the trail during the two days we were there. I recommend bringing a basin for washing dishes if you plan to cook—a gas stove is available.

The place was beautiful, everything was clean and fully equipped, and everything matched the photos and description. It’s a quiet spot, surrounded by nature, on the edge of the forest—perfect for relaxing. The little details the owner took the time to include are really nice—the little lights inside the tent, firewood, towels, dish soap, and even labels and tips for day trips! We loved it! 😊
