A RV with a view of Zelená Hora #7929

Hi there, if anyone really needs to clear their head, come visit us. Plzeň-South, specifically the meadow near Nepomuk. Peace and quiet with no crowds, a paved road leading right up to the property, and great amenities in nearby Nepomuk (about a 35-minute walk from the property); there’s a small COOP and a restaurant (open Mon–Sun), both just a 7-minute walk from the property. Accommodation in a cozy trailer for up to 4 people. The trailer isn’t very well-equipped, and to be honest, it’s not perfectly clean either. It stood on the sand by the lake for many years, and I have a feeling I’ll never be able to completely clean it of that sand. What the location does offer, however, is a magnificent view of Zelená Hora Castle; on clear days, you can see Pancíř in the Šumava Mountains and Radyně Castle in Starý Plzenec; a plot of land covering more than 10,000 m² (5,000 m² mowed), a campground, a small forest right across the road on the opposite side of the property, a room with toys for children (puzzles, books, two scooters, etc.), and, most importantly, it serves as a great starting point for excursions. So whether you’re looking for a more luxurious camping experience with the kids—where you can set up your own tent in addition to the permanent facilities—or just want an affordable place to stay overnight so you can spend the money you save on excursions, There’s a spacious free parking lot right by the train station (3 min. by car). From there, you can take the train to places like Protivín (crocodile zoo), Horažďovice (swimming pool, town, sights, castle), Blatná (castle, fallow deer), or Plzeň (swimming pools, restaurants, history, zoo, dinosaur park)—Plzeň is about a 30-minute train ride away; I recommend taking the local train instead of the express, as it’s quiet, single-level, and has no stairs. Right near the RV, there are beautiful nature walks, a fallow deer enclosure, horses, coypu by the river, several ponds, two rivers, and a bee trail (all within a 30-minute walk from the RV). Be sure to bring a beach umbrella and chairs. You’ll also need to bring your own sleeping bag or blanket (bed linens are provided), an axe for chopping wood so you can build a campfire (please check in advance whether this is permitted during your stay), cutlery, dishes, matches, a power bank, and plenty of water (there is neither water nor electricity in the RV).
